Starting Issue

    My bike starts ok with a good battery charge I'll ride for lets say half an hour stop go somewhere come back to the bike it won't start and it feels like the battery has drained changed the rectifier made bo difference weird thing is I'll start it with a jump pack fine ride home go out 30 mins later and it starts fine any help would be really appreciated

    It does sound like the battery isn't charging. Start the bike, rev it to 4k rpm and check the battery voltage. Should be about 14 volts.

    Alternators can fail on these, seen it before. As said, check your charging voltage, last one l dealt with was barely giving 11V, so the electronic ignition and lights kill the bike in less than an hour. :)

    Check the basics too. Battery lead tightness and earth to frame connection.
