You say to buy some Brembo discs and mention further on about fitting Brembos but surely the discs on the Speed Twin are already Brembo's?? if you look at the pics I have posted you will see the small orange Brembo symbol on the actual disc.
Also I wouldn't have thought that they would have fitted bog standard Triumph discs along with Brembo callipers etc, but hey being new to Triumph what do I know????

I am having the same squealing noise with my Speed Twin. It started at 200 miles. Replaced the pads at 1300 miles. It did not cure it. 3500 miles on the odometer, and it’s louder than ever. Triumph says it’s my fault for relying too much on the front brake. Sounds to me like a fault in the design of the bike.

I have a simple cure, i just blow the brake dust out when it starts squealing :)

I agree with @Hobbo complete bollocks from your dealer. Go back to them and tell them to get their act together and sort the problem.. Write to Triumph and let them know the attitude of their dealer.

Dealer tried that with mine when it first started. Worked for a few hundred miles before the squealing returned. Eventually they replaced disc’s and pads. Done circa 400 miles since the change and all seems well. Time will tell. There appears to be a problem here from the factory which needs to be fixed.....

Great news that your new set are ok at the mo, i'm happy to wait n see what happens and if our bikes get worse then have them looked at later as a bit of noise now n again is no probs, not getting any pulsing yet luckily :)

Done about 500 miles since mine were replaced and all good so far. They were replaced like for like so I'll just keep my ears open for the squeal. Big run up through mid Wales this weekend should put it to the test :D

My Brakes didn't start squealing until I'd done 800 miles (Speed twin)

What with Triumphs lack of grease, no chance it's the Axel's squeeking at low manoeuvring speeds?

Update. The one disc is not running true on the hub, due to the mating surface on that side being out. So no wonder there appears to be warpage. Streetbike have reported this to the factory, who have closed early for the bank holiday...........................

Looks like a new wheel is required.
