When you say marks, do you have any idea how the became marked? This would help identify the optimum cleaning method..

Its very difficult to get photos as the marks only show up when you look at the side casing from a certain angle I have tried WD 40 but no luck I was thinking of trying some Scotchbrite but I don't know if they are lacquered or not

My T100 cases are the same in certain light. If you go the scouring pad route make sure you go with the grain or it will look shite very quickly!

Have found that Autogylm super resin car polish seems to work while keeping the parts a matt finish

    Hi Mate,
I bought some contact cleaner to remove marks on aftermarket exhausts prior to start-up and for cleaning alloy covers.

I have a product called Autosol, it comes in a tube and is great for polishing aluminum, chrome, stainless steel or other shiny bits

I have used Autosol for years but the part on the speed twin are a brushed finish not polished. I have a tip for you when you use autosol apply it with newspaper you will halve the time it takes you
