Hi everyone, I’m looking for the brown quilted replacement seat for my New Speed Twin, but don’t want to pay the dealer price.
    Anyone got one for sale?
    Thanks in advance

It's a bit early for Squaredeals to have access to aftermarket Speed Twin seats - they are a re-seller - and in any case don't sell Triumph OEM.

Good luck with finding one this soon after launch. Maybe on Ebay after a write-off.

As with all Triumph OEM you get 10% forum discount from Pure Triumph Woburn, but postage will wipe a good bit off that.

I’ve seen a couple on eBay that dealers are selling at £50 off normal price, but missed them. I’ve messaged squaredeals to see what they say.
I’ll keep an eye on eBay.:)

Decided to go for a black one to match the bike better. Local dealer did me a discount and now waiting for it to arrive.

Hi, do the manufacturer replacement seats not have Triumph written along the back like the original one's?? (very small point, but would be enough to kind of put me off, I think)

Picked up my seat today and it doesn’t have the Triumph brand on the outside, but it still looks great. Went out for a 2 hour ride and it’s more comfortable than the stock seat in my opinion.

I was going to go with brown, but thought black safer with the stock exhaust pipes.

Yep the black will definitely go better with stock exhaust in my humble opinion.

I went for Brown seat even with stock exhausts but plan to upgrade exhausts soon. New seat down through France was very comfortable, much better than the stock seat. Enjoy the comfort...

Rather a late comment on your choice of seat colour but you definitely made the right one .
Why anyone would even consider placing a brown seat near a black/grey/silver bike is beyond me and an afront to good taste.

Everybody to their own. What say’s that black is the right choice? Dressing your bike is a personal choice, just saying..

    Hi there seat upgraders!
I find the stock speed twin seat pretty comfortable for rides up to about an hour - does the quilted seat (black or brown ) offer improved comfort over longer rides? and does it increase the seat height at all?

The black seat is definitely more comfortable, the brown one not so much ;)

That’s good, if I do get one I would go for the black one anyway!
ps is the seat a bit higher than the stock seat?
