Nice! Remove the DB killers and Enjoy. Happy with the sound? I am "sorry" to say I left the Triumph club. Bought my self a Ducati Streetfighter V4s with Akrapovic.. What a beast.. Still looking forward to the Speedy 1160
There is a screw on the inside, powdercoated to blend in with the surrounding. Also it is spotwelded but the weld breaks easily. But be sure to use a good quality allan key or how you call it, so you don't mess the screw up! And don't loose the screw in the exhaust Takes 1-2 minutes to take out
Looks like they have changed the screw - it is now completely round inside and outside, no good for Allen key or anything else, and welded as you mention. Guess SC don't want me to remove the baffles!
see if you can take a slightly better image Sure the key isnt just too small? Can be hard to push in if there is dirt inside
Seriously, it is totally round inside and quite shallow. I even pushed some blue tack in to take an impression in 3D, maybe they filled it with something? I tried all my keys on this, nothing will grip it!
Do you have a update on this ? Did you manage to remove the baffle ? If the baffles are a pain to remove this will be a show stopper for me getting them . I May as well put the effort in removing the baffles from the stock Arrow cans on the RS ?
Hi John, I found out that you need to drill the rivets out to take off the end cap the grind off the weld/screw holding the baffles in - haven't done it yet... I think similar effort doing the arrows, unless you just want to drill out the disc at the other end with a hole saw, though I heard that doesn't make much difference.... Let me know how you get on
