Hi Guys not been on for a while but if you could help would be great I have a speed triple r 2016/17 model Had it checked over by local dealer. When I got it home noticed a piece of the underseat moulding was missing it was the black underseat next to where the the tail tidy is. the dealer said they know nothing about it. So can’t leave it blank, I was selling the bike which is the reason I was getting it checked over . I know it was on when I dropped it of but they tell me the fitter didn’t touch anything on the underside of bike. So not much I can do apart from suck it up. If anyone knows the part/number could you let me know or where I could get a replacement it would be a great help. Cheers in Advance. Nasher
cheers triple x, yeah triumph fit the tail tidy as far as I know the part that’s missing is part of what triumph call the underseat moulding. I did look on triumph parts to attempt to find it but couldn’t work out if you have to buy the whole unit which ain’t cheap The only other option was eBay ? How it could of just fallen off god only knows it looks a substantial fitment with plastic clips and snap lugs. I’ll have a butcher’s cheers triple x
Part 22 is a mudguard near the rear shock and appears to be in place. Before the tail tidy was fitted part 10 would have also formed the cover so if a part is missing it must have been supplied with the aftermarket tail tidy kit. Do you know what make the tail tidy is?
