it looks good at an angle, still not to keen on a full on side view with those sticky out lights , the new speed triple looks a bit better side on but still needs something done..not sure what though!
looks really nice in the yellow and black, the badge on the arrows match too! I've never bothered removing my rear pegs i don't think you notice them much
Envious of those PVM wheels Dougie! Got a 94R (all black) last Sept. but Triumph didn't keep the PVM's on the R for very long, too expensive I guess. Been tweaking mine over the winter months and still got the Arrow slip-ons to fit in the next month or so, fitted bar end mirrors, LED indicators, billet CNC levers & reservoirs (all black), and radiator guards. I'll post some pics once the Arrows are on.
look forward to seeing the photos, also once you put the Givi Panniers on it will be interesting to see how they look,i bought the Triumph axle covers..expensive for what they are but it finishes the wheel off..they should really fit them as standard
Yeah, looks like the axle covers might be standard on the 2016 (R version at least). I did post a link to photos I took of the Givi panniers (on the other thread) when I briefly had them on last year, make the back end look pretty wide but it's pretty quick to add/remove the support frame so I only put them on when we're going away for a few days.
yeah your'e right Col i remember seeing them now..it's my age!..ah i think i ment once you have your arrows on!
Yeah, forgot about the slight position differences (it's my age)....wondering if the Arrows will be a bit more scorchio too!
maybe, it doesn't seem to have a heatshield on it,i havn't been on a long run yet but after 20 miles or so it didn't feel that hot although i wasn't going that fast
As long as you've got air flow should be fine, I'd just start to worry a bit if stuck in traffic. Shouldn't be doing that on a bike though. .......unless the panniers are too wide to filter......
Here is a pic of my bike from Sunday. Went to Girvin for fish and chips, stopped on the Dunure to Ayr road to take this pic overlooking Arran, note the snow. .
hi Muddy welcome..nice bike did the bike come with the red touches or is that something you've had done?
Thank you very much! its one of the dark editions and came with them, iv just done the headlight lowering mod so will be posting pics up soon in the lowered lights thread
