Same band, same bike theme. This cover from Christopher Cross hit is to my opinion one of the best cover ever.

 

I prefer it to the Cross version. It loses the saccharin and gains an edge.

 

I respectfully disagree.
Yes Christopher Cross song is a massive hit, with all west coast music codes, but I think that british heavy metal sound suits very well with that tune.

 

I haven’t got anything again the west coast sound at all. I am quite a Steely Dan fan. There’s something about Chris’s voice that just doesn’t do it for me, I guess.

 

The high pitch voice is something special. Some like some hate.
I had my Toto moment some years ago, and played a lot of those songs. I still like that west coast clean and polite sound.

 

Yeah, but I can't say it's just the pitch as I'm also a Rush fan. I still think Toto IV is a great album.
