The other day the GF asked me on the phone what's for dinner, I replied tube steak, and texted her this. She added it to her playlist.
Sad news. Another great has left us, one of my heros, got to see them in Cork a while back... RIP Dusty Hill, what a legend!
I just heard about this, too, @andyc1. Such a legend and such a loss. I saw ZZ Top in concert twice, once in Tucson and once at the Laughlin River Run. For Valentine's Day in 2020 Mr. Sandi got us tickets to a ZZ Top concert to be held in Tucson in April of 2020. Then Covid hit and the concert was rescheduled but cancelled again and never rescheduled after that. One of my absolute all time favorite rock bands. RIP, Dusty.
Also very sad to hear the news about Dusty. Their headline set at Monsters of Rock at Donington in 1985 is an enduring memory.
RIP Dusty. I also saw them at Donnington and loved them. The documentary, That Little Ol' Band from Texas is a great watch, more so now
.....covered in a quite distinctive manner here. WTF has happened to Fripp? He used to be so.......serious
