:) Good couple of hours in the garage today and for once everything I did went as planned :grinning:
Got the footboards drilled and countersunk on both sides of NUDGER so the anti swivel bars are in place :)
Then I cut/drilled and filed the heel plates and got them mounted as well :) C792FD43-BD29-4200-8B2F-C339FD22CFB7.jpeg of course a tow bar is not a tow bar without a tow ball at the back :(
    So that’s next :p

Sitting on the seat at the moment :)
All this has to be stripped back apart when I’ve finished fabricating it all so it can go for Powdercoating....BLACK

Neat job Dilli, it's a shame you don't live closer to me, I could keep you busy for weeks!

Some early Japanese bikes of the '60s/'70s/80s had frame welding that left a lot to be desired:eek:. And it was in full view, give or take a coat of paint.
Dilli has nothing to fear from the welding inspectors - probably!:relieved:

Silly question - I thought tow bars had to be ce certified. How do you get around that?

Dilli's mate, Clive Edmonds, has a look at it, says "that looks okay" and confirms it in writing on the back of a fag packet which he then signs. Ergo, certified by CE. Simples!
