The problem is, no one is quite sure wether he can or not because he’s usually eaten the crayons before the paper is made ready

Thought I better get back on with this :)
The tow ball bracket will need to be ground down so that it sits flush with the tow bar :) CE840278-C3C7-41AB-BE5F-8D236815383A.jpeg firstly though I need to get the tow bar itself fitted at the right ride height
So I’ve drawn a template on the garage floor so I can get the mounting points the same both sides :)
This is so I get it mounted on the brackets I made at the beginning of this thread and get the side supports mounted in the same position for uniformity :) 0DA32071-10A2-4628-B242-6F69F61B3427.jpeg did some measurements after offering the the tow bar up to NUDGER and got to use my newly acquired angle grinder to cut the long side rails to size :)

:grinning: Well that went better than I thought it would :grinning: everything bolted together and it lines up perfectly
If you zoom in you can see that I’ve fitted a passenger foot rest :)
Not sure about it though  as I sat on the rear passenger seat to try it out and someone who doesn’t care about NUDGER the way I do  might get the sole of their boot burnt on the exhaust if they don’t sit properly
Gonna have a look again for some footboards :) B470A304-3C9F-442A-8824-3D24769F3935.jpeg

    Hi dilli,

Just spent a good 1.5hrs looking but no joy!
They were purchased for one of the trikes my Mrs owned. Then they we're quickly removed when she decided she didn't like them!
I'm 95% sure I still have them so I'll keep looking mate.

Not all bad news though. I found LOADS of stuff I'd forgotten I had! Inc a stash of fueling/ignition bits for 70's/80's Fords. Some of which are still new/boxed.
I think I may have a problem with hoarding? :kissing:

Be great if you find them mate :)
But don’t worry about it if you can’t
Will have another search on eBay or might see if I can make some plates to fit onto them footpegs somehow
I want to be able to fold them up when not in use :)

That "might" put a different perspective on mine then mate? (If I find them?)
I think they were originally from an 1100 Dragstar & I needed them to fit her Suzuki VL.

IIRC, the part of the mounting that was fixed & the bit that folded for the Yamaha. Was a mirror image of what was req'd for a Suzuki? I know they took a fair bit of feckin around with to make them fit.
Difficult to explain but they may need to be modified to fit? Nothing that a metalwork guru such as yourself couldn't solve though! ;)

Edit.... After consulting the Oracle (her-indoors) She knew why I couldn't find them. Apparently her dad had them off me. Just rang him & he never used them & he still has them. I'll post a photo tomorrow.
