This is the seat I’m fitting to NUDGER
    :)
Trying to find a way to secure it
    I will find a way :)
    Cost £30:p
2369E507-18DE-484F-A592-913CC240CE0F.png This is the back rest I’ve ordered :)
    It’s not here yet :(
But once I’ve sorted the seat I can make a start on the fabrication of the sissy bar ready for when it gets here :)
    Should arrive 5th February :)
    Cost £15:p

:):) At last I’ve made some progress :grinning:
Using the bolt holes that the original fanny pad uses I’ve attached two rubber feet from a stihl saw:)
The holes are a perfect fit for the head of a 8mm Allen head bolt :)
Gonna drill and tap the bar to take the Allen bolts and cut and grind it to size :)
Then it’ll be attached to the under side of the new seat and that’s the position sorted :) 5D417A71-FED7-4F8E-9BE4-1ED7424EE20B.jpeg the front seat locator has been removed and swapped for this rubber mount :) it has a metal sleeve in the middle so it’s locked in place :)
I’ve attached a type of bungee on the underneath of the seat and it locks the seat up against the back of the riders seat :) the locators will stop it pulling in too hard :p 37E92883-7CD4-40C9-A935-8C1EF1914C3B.jpeg

Coming on nicely there, I take it the company stihl saw is now minus two rubber feet.

:grinning: Well that went well :grinning:
Some minor adjustments and some rubber pads fixed on with double sided tape and that’s it a pillion seat for £35:p E0C42A6E-0E27-4910-A3DA-973F5A59D689.jpeg 8E142598-39B0-4E43-B09A-ECF1230F2824.jpeg

Looking really good is that Dilli. I reakon you could patent that as there will be many speedmaster riders who carry a pillion who will be interested......

Using this as a guide/template to start making the backrest/sissy bar :)
Can’t use it on NUDGER as the holes don’t line up  DABE24B4-FDF3-4D7C-9127-79AAEF442AF4.jpeg

Picking some bits up tonight from the powder coater for my mates Rocket 3 :)
Apparently you can get powder coating that looks almost like chrome :)
So gonna ask while I’m there :)
If not I’ll probably just paint it as it’s not that important to me as I’ll probably only be using it a few times :)
Taking my mate Frank to a couple of rallies and hopefully get to the Isle of Man later in the year with WOR LASS
