Bit stuck at the moment
Need to be in the garage with CERBERUS  so I can offer these up and see about getting them mounted with the bobbins that I’m making :)
Unusually for me I’m taking my time as I have to get this first part right as everything else that I’m gonna make is dependent on this first part :) 6495DFCA-3210-41E6-A1CE-131450F87124.jpeg

    That’s the plan mate :)
I just rubbed them over but they’ll be getting painted as they’re steel not alloy :)

:confused:Lot’s of cutting and filing to do yet
Then I plan to glue them in place at the top somehow
I should be able to tack weld them into position underneath then remove the glue :)
I also have to drill and tap some threads through the four bobbins as well :) 8562F1C0-1167-4227-B15C-9D9BD20D9609.jpeg

Recommend you use a double sided tape as used on number plates etc apply to each end jobs a good-un (well until welded)

    I have a confession o_O
Them bobbin things I was making got fecked up on Friday :sob:
    Wasn’t my fault though
The pedestal drill I was using had a wonky base :(
As I was drilling the bobbins the hole out the bottom end was completely out :sob:
They were hot to touch so I was just chucking them to one side without checking :scream:
    All four fecked
So I’ve had to start again :sob:
The good news is that the glue holds them in place while I get them welded from behind :)
You can see the first one in the picture without the bolt holding it down :)
    Three to go :) 22E9DA8D-6859-4C1E-A476-2D64B98DCBBE.jpeg

Totally agree DD, my mot was saturday gone, so all just about taken care of for me now, I know where your coming from, but sometimes its nice to escape on the bike by yourself and with this buggar's grip getting tighter its maybe a good time to take time out.:D
We got a few trips bought and paid for in the motorhome this year ganna be a bit dodgy I feel. (but fairly cheap so not a great loss)
