Well, Tim., I sincerely hope that her myopia gets her the just reward she so richly deserves!

Meantime, I'll also wish you luck with your serarch for the "proper job" .... that expression has an extra meaning down 'yer in Deb'n!

    Good luck.

Hi, Nikki. Congrats on coming out of retirement and back into the world of work. Or condolences. Perhaps both?

I did something similar. I retired from being a school psychologist for over 20 years and was fully retired for one year. Then a part-time job at a private school pretty much fell right into my lap. It does feel good to be using my skills again for good--or at least that's what I tell myself. ;):joy: And it's quite nice to be getting a paycheck again every two weeks. The private school where I work now has never had a school psychologist before so it's quite exciting to help build my role from the ground up based on their needs. While it does mean less spontaneity for travel, Mr. Sandi is still working part time too and we both work in schools so usually have school holidays in common. I am very glad that my job is part time because that provides a lot more flexibility as well as time to go riding during the week sometimes.

I hope that things work out nicely with your new job. (Maybe you'll buy a Rocket 3 with those earnings?!) As others have said, perhaps after you have worked there a bit you could elect to go part time which is lovely. But if not,you do know how nice it can be to be retired! :)
