I have a 1200 Adventure, and that's staying. We use that daily commuting and weekends.
The Speed Triple I'm looking at is for me mostly.

Coincidence? I had a BB, and now a Speed RS. Convinced my wife to trade in her gsx-f (katana in the UK), and keep the BB. So now got the best of both worlds, + a happy wife!

    Problem solved then!
I did run 2 bikes for a while when I had the Daytona, had a Yam TDM900 for the 2 up stuff and commuting back in the day.

    Hi and welcome
I had a budget and stuck to it. This rulled out newer bike so got my 2012 Speed Triple R for £7,000.
If you want a quickshifter get a 2016 onwards, I wouldnt risk sticking an aftermarket one on an earlier bike.
Other than that there isnt that much difference from the 2011-15 bikes and the 2016+ model, just depends how much you want to spend really, and which one you like the look of more.
