My original idea was overnight ferry from Portsmouth to Ouisterham then Autoroute it down to Oradour-sur-Glane then D roads to Agen, over the Pyrenees to Jaca/Bielsa then west to Potes in the Picos and finally sailing back from Santander to Portsmouth. I've had several more ideas since then so if you've got any ideas lets hear 'em.
