Hi everyone, I am thinking to do a road trip from Zurich in Switzerland down to Calabria in Italy. Is anyone interested in joining me, either some of the way or even all of the way? The trip should last about a week or two the most, as nothing will be set in stone. More like a spontaneous trip and see where it take me. Taking it easy, riding across Italy one way and then on the way back another way. From Zurich and back, the total kms should be around 3,000 kms, 1,500 kms each way. I am flexible about dates but it will be sometime between end of May 2019 and beginning of July 2019. Any tips, suggestions or recommendations are welcome. Thank you
Hi Tops you are heading for a glorious ride. I live in Central France and in 2017 I did a ride with a couple of friends where we first road down to Nice and the Mediterranean; from there into Northern Italy. Stayed in the North West going in and out of the Alps, visiting Cuneo, Barolo etc coming home via Turin, the Val d'Aosta and Le Petit Saint Bernard. Italy is so beautiful, food, wine women and scenery - it can't be beat !!! Have a great time.............................
