Peter Fonda has passed away aged 79 from lung cancer. He showed many of us the path to freedom with his iconic film. RIP Captain America, you and Billy are finally free to ride together again.
I remember going to see Easy Rider when I was about 13 sneaking into the local bug pit in our area it was 18 rated great film that inspired my biking from an early age along with Psychomania.
Just watching Easy Rider on DVD now as a tribute. Fuck, I remember the opening, those little scrambler bikes.....there's me thinking, I thought it was proper bikes..........then the song, The Pusher , and the chops appear. I was gone forever. Get your motor runnin. Lol Ps I always preferred Billy's bike and still do
RIP. Another Brother gone from our midst. God keep you safe in the palm of his hand Easy Rider till we all meet again. Regards Joe.
Dilli, ya gotta see it! It's poor quality and very dated. But all that said, it's a classic! And it was the first movie where they actually showed people doing drugs.
RIP, Peter Fonda. It's really hard to realize that some of our cult heroes are passing away. I loved his cameo in Wild Hogs and he and Dennis Hopper were amazing in Easy Rider. Did anyone see the "Ride with Norman Reedus" episode where Norman and Peter rode to the Florida Keys together??
What an awesome video!! I just sent it to our motorcycle group. I've ridden these Monument Valley roads. And the sunsets really are like this in Arizona. Great footage set to the perfect song. Thanks, Sprinter!!
