Sadly it looks I was overly optimistic for my dad. He's since gone downhill and is currently on end of life medication. We're just waiting for when, not if
Wonder if the N.H.S. has been inundated with motorcycle volunteers to transport blood about. Having not left the confines of our curtilage for 2 weeks I haven’t seen any about, but before the Big V they were a regular sight around our way. Ken.
So sad to hear this mate, not being able to be with your Dad must be unbearable, my thoughts are with you & your family
So sorry to hear that tc. As if things weren't feckin bad enough already. Thoughts are with you mate.
I do hope that, if, sadly, it is the end of a life journey, it is a calm, peaceful, painless and dignified one. May he and you both fare well at this awful time.
I’m so sorry and to read this, @tcbandituk. Thinking of you and your family and sending love across the pond. I’ve lost both my mom and dad so can in some small way I understand your pain and sorrow.
A colleague of mine died this afternoon due to the virus, her life support system was switched off. She was in her early forties and had asthma. Cruel.
Thanks but we weren't close. I've just known her for a long time and she was a "good un". It's just that it brings home the gravity of the situation. What pisses me off is these idiots still ignoring all the advice and the morons burning down radio masts. I hear now that people are dumping their pets because they think they can catch the virus from them.
