Hi chaps is it easy enough to reset the service light when i have done a oil change on a 2013 model? John.
I've heard you need some software called dealertool it costs about 65 quid, tuneecu is free but I don't think it has the capacity to reset service lights, you will also need an obII cable. Of course, not to break the tradition, I could be wrong!
One of the first things I bought after the bike. Dealertool is a great piece of kit. The guys that sell it are top notch. Had trouble installing on my PC. I emailed them on a Sunday before a bank holiday Monday expecting a reply on Tuesday. Within 15minutes of my email, one of the guys knew exactly what I had done and remidied it immediately. Yes it may cost, but how much does a basic service cost on the TEX. one self service and I've already saved. BTW. It doesn't just reset the service schedules. Read their website. Oh, and I am in no way affiliated with them. I'm new to the forum and thought I'd share my experiences.
Well I got dealertool yep its about £65 but once set up dead easy to use, reset the service icon in a couple of minutes
