If you want old school a PCL (pneumatic components ltd ) pencil type take some beating but I have a Halfords digital one and it seems to be spot on ( well, the pressure it shows in the car tyres is matched on the TPMS display)
A good quality pencil type will never let you down and the battery never goes flat. Word of warning, on ebay there are goodyear ones ,very cheap but trust me they are crap. I had had my gauge for many years but it was in one of my tool boxes when my garage was broken into 2 years ago. Also you can get them with a right angled end so they fit on motorbike wheel valves whereas some gauges are unable to get in .
