Still not got this bastard thing off yet, but it'll be comin off toneet, one way or t'other, cos I'm havin new tyres fitted int mornin. Then new chain and sprockets whilst they're out.
Well, it's off. I can confirm that it's a push fit. Tried ti turn it with pipe grips, then ended up flailing it with a length of bar, and a lump hammer. It just popped off!! It musta bin held in with road muck, or summat. Hallelujah!!
