Saw one of these today whilst out and about, not seen one for years.

Can’t remember what year it was but I was riding an old C15 years ago and trying to stretch the throttle cable at about 60mph and one pulled out and crossed in front of me. If I’d hit it I would have cut it in half

That's not a bad thing! Belongs in the same drawer as a TOPBox!

This was mine up until 12 years ago. Owned it for 18 years. When these photos were taken, i had spent 9 years restoring it 3 times, until we got it right. Stainless fittings throughout including all mounting points bonded into body's hell and fuel tank. Did the chassis first, 90 % replaced, then body, which took so long and three attempts to get it right, then the chassis had to be stripped and rebuilt again. This was a full nut and bolt, only thing that didn't get stripped was back axle, as we snapped a Puller trying to get 1/2 shafts out. The're rare, so we left it.
They built 2522 of them, mines was chassis 2511. At the time, was concourse and easily the best one in the country.
Cried when it went, but I needed the money for a house deposit.

And yes, this is where my love of Orange came from
