My children were warned from the beginning that I would use the bird method -out the nest they go, fly or flop. You'd be surprised how the thought of hunger and homelessness will motivate a young person. It's tough, but it is called parenting. My children left the house soon after graduating high school and have been on their own since. And, no, I did NOT finance them in any way to leave my house. I never stopped spanking them, either. I told them to go ahead and call Child Protective Services if they would rather live in a foster home. They never did and to this day they thank me for being the parent I have been. It's tough love and it works.

In the older days they had good use of News papers: Wiping your Ass and putting chips in them and that's about all they are worth
I don't think it matters what your policial bent is, as these days I think reading most newspapers is an uneducating mind melting activity.
So, a friend blew his achilles and had surgery to repair it last week. The pain meds and antibiotics he was given post surgery are labeled . . . wait for it . . . "Covid". That's what happens when medical facilities start getting "federal aid" for dealing with something -everything becomes that something. A friend of ours had flue like symptoms and tested negative for covid twice and all her meds were labeled the same way. Money is all they care about and that is why the numbers are inflated.
Personally I think China owe the whole world a huge debt, they should be made to pay in some way for what they've done, and now it looks like there's another one brewing over there in pigs, nuke the whole f***king lot of them and make the world a cleaner place!
