Agree, saw it on the news earlier, they were pushing against each other trying to be first in the store. I'm not sure I'd put my life at risk for a pair of trainers!

I’ve been enjoying the new bike this last weekend, so much so that it’s now due it’s first service (1000km or 620miles)
Phoned my local KTM dealer (25miles away ) to book it in and was told the earliest they’ve got a slot available is 7th of July  and that because it’s a 2018MY (despite being registered only a week ago) I need to have the brake and clutch fluids changed as per KTM schedule.
And how much is this going to cost? £250 .....and I can’t use the bike for 3 weeks now :mad: Arse!!

Nope, I couldn't read anything into that that could be regarded as racist, I think what he said was well thought out and completely unbiased. Trouble is these days there are people that will work extremely hard to find offence in anything and everything : unamused:

Well lets hope he doesn't, he has nothing to apologise for. People in this country (and others) will soon be too scared to say anything for fear of the lefty backlash.

Haha, well, I find a bit less easy to argue my point in those kind of situations, so I tend to avoid them :( but I had a mate who was very outspoken on everything from Brexit to Gender confusion to whatever the 'religion of peace' was currently up to. He wasn't a racist or homophobic, he was just a straight up bloke who spoke his mind. He had some hilarious arguments with his liberal friends on Facebook but never lowered himself to name calling, unlike his liberal friends. Sadly he died of cancer last year so he didn't have a chance to get involved in the George Floyd / BLM argument...but it would have been epic :p

You have to respond with their own "logic". On several occasions when I was told I had to stop saying or doing something because it is offensive, I've asked, "so because you're offended I have to stop?". The response is always, "yes". So I respond, "I'm offended at you being offended, so you have to stop being offended". They usually walk off in frustration, mumbling to themselves.
