The shoei open face helmet I was looking at last year for £299 has now gone up £50 in the majority of shops but in some it's still the old price!!!

    Rant!
Four miles from where I live to get to the M62 for my daily commute.
Four different ways I can travel the 4 miles.
All four F****ing ways have got temporary roadworks with lights.
What sort of F***ing idiot plans that?

My wife said to me yesterday "Don't forget tomorrow is the 14th" I said yup thanks for reminding me.
I was glad as the 14th is the day of every month when my credit card switches to a new payment month and any new purchases can be paid in the following month without interest. I was happy as I can now buy the tyres, brake pads and maybe a new rectifier I need. All this can now be paid from my March pay cheque rather than this months.

My blood went cold this morning when wifey said happy valentines and looked at me with expectant eyes....
oh shit. I was just honest and said I hadn't got anything for her, jeez you could see the blood boil behind her eyes. She had a go at me as I had known today was the 14th after she had reminded me, then I made the mistake of saying I thought that was a reminder so I can buy the bits for my bike. Needless to say this didn't go down to well.

So it will be a heavy dose of cold shoulder and a few nights on the sofa no doubt.

Here Goes... Insurance Companies.... Mine is due in March.. I just know when the quote comes its going to be higher than last year. you look at at and say HOW MUCH!! fcuk that! So you then start that repetitive job of phoning around like you have all the time in the world . And low and behold at the end of it you find a cheaper quote. So you phone your own insurance company and say " Hi, I got your quote Ref number Bla Bla Bla and I have been offered a cheaper quote with the same terms as the quote you sent me" They ask you how much you have been Quoted and when you tell them ......All of a sudden they can Match it !! Well Feck Me . How come they never give me the best price in the first placeo_O:mad:. Its the same story every year. Its like they just chance their arm , hoping your be mug enough to just pay it. Well this year they can Feck themselves. The cheapest get it. i'm not going to even tell them what i was quoted. Its time these companies are named and shamed. So.... Carol Nash ..... give me your best Price on this Quoteo_O

    Just renewed my car insurance.
£240 renewal, last year £190 - new price once I called up £175

Saved £65 in one phone call, didn't even phone others.
If they had just quoted the same as last year I probably would have been happy to accept that.
Cheeky bugger started off saying there had been in increase in insurance tax, which yes, there has been but it was only about 2% or so, not 25%

Well nothing really, I was given the tomtom, it cost more and it has hands free so I thought I'd use it instead, and the ones for cars are great!

A cursoriam in Christo! Did you know that the thimble has just been kicked out of Monopoly pieces. We're now waiting to hear if the replacement will be, and I kid you not, an emoji, a hashtag, a flip-flop, a rubber duck or some other modern nonsense. And did you know that in 2013 the iron was kicked out and replaced by a cat, a 'kin cat of all things. So that's the sewing thimble out, and the iron out, and a cat in, yes a cat of all things. Seems to me the voting for all this was confined to Women's Weekly magazine. I mean, did any bloke round here know this was going on?

Bit out of touch with Monopoly, but I agree, some things are just better left alone.
They should invent another F***ing game if they don't like the original pieces.
Wonder if there are any plans to change the symbols on playing cards ?
