Photo quality seems to be an important factor on this thread - but you won't get that from me as I only have a cheap Nokia, & on the day the wind was buffeting so strongly it was impossible to stand still. But I thought it may have some interest. This is the crash site of the Boeing Superfortress that crashed in 1948 on Bleaklow in the Peak District. As you see there's not much left - but a lot more than the nearby Dakota Skytrain & Lancaster bomber. What some may not realise is there are getting on for 50 of these crash sites in the Peak District alone, mainly wartime. RIP The Thirteen Crewmembers.
    ☆ I should have said 150 crash sites, not 50 - but since found out it's 183.

There is bank fishing on certain parts ,I've never fished it but there is brownies in it. i love the 1250 it has a lot more poke than the 1200, it's actually 84cc more as the 1200 is a 1170cc and the 1250 is a 1254cc, the handling is brilliant, i can't think of anything bad about it..only the looks of the front end i guess but the looks grow on you

Sorting through some old pictures on my phone, this one I took about 2 years ago of the 5 arch stone bridge built about 1660 and spans the River Dee at Bangor-is-y-Coed North Wales.

This place is well worth a visit if your near Kenmore "The Scottish Crannog Centre" The Scottish Crannog Centre - The Scottish Crannog Centre
(From Google) The earliest loch-dwelling in Scotland is some 5,000 years old but people built, modified and re-used crannogs in Scotland up until the 17th century AD.

It's a nice walk out to the site, they were making their approach to land and descended a bit early in cloud. Easiest if you set off from the top of the Snake.

USAF Consolidated Vultee B-24 Liberator crash site in the Peak District. There's more wreckage than this but the images were too big to download which I don't know how to make smaller (?). It was a brand new aircraft being delivered to Burtonwood when it crashed 11/10/44 on Mill Hill, therefore only the pilot & flt eng on board- who thankfully survived. They managed to make it to the main road where a passing car took them to the pub to call for an ambulance & report the crash. Although relatively undamaged, a party was sent to destroy the aircraft after they reckoned it was impossible to salvage because of the inaccessible location. It's a crap pic but there are pro one's on the net. IMG_20210322_113315.jpg
