Featured Rideout Pre-alps And Sup

Today my wife and I rode a 240 km tour through the Pre-Alps. For this tour I took my "big" bike to be able to take our "SUP" with us. I packed and fixed it across my bike's cases and off we went. The weather was great and we had very low traffic on the "hidden" roads we took. We stopped at a small lake called "Hubertussee". Wonderful landscape is surrounding it. After enflating the SUP we paddled along the complete lake. Thousands of little fish crossed our way and accompanied us. Afterwards we swam in the lake. The temperature of 19 degrees celsius was really refreshing. Back in our biker suits our boots were two numbers to big for some minutes, due to the cold water.
We then stopped at a small inn which offers beside traditional food a very special kind of Austrian dessert. Normally it is called "Buchteln", baked yeast dough filled with marmelade. Here it is called "Wuchteln" and served with additional vanilla and/or chocolate sauces and cream. Delicious!!!
After this sweet lunch we rode back home and dried our watersport equipment.
