Thanks for the comments. The K-Techs feel great, I think they have smoothed the bike out. I haven't tried playing with the adjustments yet. However, I also wonder if there is some placebo effect when you change something like suspension unless the originals were truly dire. Cheers
Here’s my Thruxton R having just had the front fairing and rear fender removal kit installed. I got the front fairing kit from Triumph but the 2 plastic center pieces above and below the middle of the headlight are black. All the others I have seen are colour coded. Are these supposed to come already painted does anyone know??
Paint the strap down your tank black and it'll feed in like a racing stripe. That's a nice looking bike.

My heavily modified 2015 Bonneville Cafe and my, new to me, 2017 Thruxton R. Love the Thruxton but the Bonneville Cafe is too nice to part with. So for now both in the garage.
Can see why you want to keep both, where did you get the union jack flags on side panel on the new Thruxton ? or were they allready on the bike !.
@Jimmy Macallan turned up at my house on his new to him 2016 matt black thruxton r. Bike is like new with only 532 miles on the clock, wtf is that all about? Anyway it was an opportunity for a thruxton photo call
