I like the look of your exhaust is it the same as that farmer bloke has on YouTube? As his exhaust sticks out to the side more than the standard exhaust according to him. We’re did you get it from etc? Cheers.
Hi, mine is what he had originally, he than further modified it and shortened it. I have just used the stock pipe with straight on fit, the middle section does come out a bit but as I'm tall with long legs this does not affect me when riding or standing up. You could modify the center section to improve it but as a straight with with minimum mods this works well for me. Total Triumph are doing both versions I think but if you can get your hands on the pipe second hand than and can get the holding bracket re drilled, all you need is a cotton reel extender and longer bolt and job done.
My wife and I started riding about a year ago after taking our MSF class here in the south east USA. We wandered into a few different dealers to look at options and ended up picking up a couple of Indian Scout Bobbers and have put many happy miles on them. For the past year I've gone back to our local Triumph dealer to look at the Scrambler 1200XC a few times and on my last visit the sales agent I was talking with made me a deal I couldn't refuse. The dealer just delivered my 2019 Scrambler XE. My only issue now is I have is I have a stress fracture in my right foot and had surgery on it two weeks ago. Looks like I get to fondly stare at this beauty sitting in my sunroom 'aka the garage with a view' for another 6 weeks.
Three of my beauties! Over 200 miles and only spoke to two other people all day (other than ourselves), one to say hello to as she walked by c 5 yards away, and the other to pay for some petrol with signs saying to keep your distance (which we did), unlike the locals who wanted to chat to their mate behind the till getting up close and personal! Funny old world. Stonking bikes though!
Bought this, a 2013 Scrambler 900 EFI (air-cooled). Its my first ever Triumph and I'm learning as I go along. I was told by the geezer I bought it from that the Pipe was a Dunstan? I have since discovered its a Tec "Desert" 2-1 sounds nice. Just not sure if I should have it hooked up and make sure shes running optimum. The Lambda sensors are blanked. I get some popping on deceleration. Sounds cool but not sure its healthy? Haha
It came with tinted fly screen and tail rack. Since have changed engine clutch and alternator cover to black, engine crash bars, headlight grill, stand big toe, connectivity unit ( great sat nav on dash), got arrow pipes but not fitted yet ( came with bike), front fender extender. Looking at fuel booster plug from TEC parts , but not convinced about its effect without a decat. Need to get out riding after lifting of lockdown...... before I decide. In the meantime , let’s get polishing.
Nice job Bug, I have an XC and waiting for Verex decat pipe to be delivered, not sure I could have bought one from further away, Tasmania.
Fingers crossed it’s worth the wait . I will be grateful if you forward any pics and comments once installed.
