We added a new bike to the stable today. Personally I think my wife was jealous of my scrambler. While she refused to get rid of her Indian at least she’ll split her time between that and her new 2020 Speed Twin.
Use a good wax or oil based polish and rub t in really well around the stitching , waterproofs leather jackets this way too.
they are the one size up so 110 on the front and 140 on the rear, bike sits about 10mm lower with SE Ikon shocks on the rear and front 10mm through the trees...
I'll soon have had this bike for 6 years and despite never really liking the knee pads I only decided to pull them off a few days ago. I'm not sure that the bike looks any better but it doesn't look any worse.
Here's mine. Picked it up on September 19th and it is booked in for its first service on October 6th.
Hi Curly The seats from thetotaltriumph via eBay they have just re listed them @£230 but I made an offer of £210 and got it. Cheers
OK well, this ain't a new Bonnie but she sure does look like one! This is one of my 2001 Bonnie's that came to me in Forest Green and Silver livery but with a few deep scratches on the tank and mudguards and the front mudguard had had some bad touch-ups. I struck lucky and picked up a full set of New Old Stock Sky Blue and Silver, 2002, livery that had been removed from a new machine back in 2002 as the buyer had wanted it fitted with Jubillee special kit. @MadMrB suggested that I do a 'Before and after' while changing her over but, as I decided to do this in the shed at midnight and it was pissin' down outside I didn't really have a chance to take decent pics of how she looked before the change. Was a fairly dry and slightly sunny day here today so I got out for a bit of a spin around my little corner of Argyll and snapped a few photos. Believe me, the photos don't do the colour of this paint job justice. That blue is absolutely beauoooooootiful in the sunlight. I have now named this lovely lady Mairi as she is Sky(e) blue and so it seemed appropriate to name her in honour of a Gaelic Poetess who came from Skye called Mairi Mhor nan Oran (Big Mary of the songs). It may be my imagination but I swear that she is handling a bit sweeter (even though she was great to start with) now she has been named and re-dressed
