    You can also try rubbing rusty chrome with ordinary kitchen foil and a little water - honest it works wonders.

    Thanks Steve , will try that too, I'm at he stage of , do I keep her off the road until next year or put her together for the rest of the summer then restrip. finding it hard in the garage on a hot day with bikes flying by, grrrrrrr.
