Two weeks ago the little guy in the picture (Jack) chased a deer or fox and literally disappeared in 10 seconds without a trace. We got him from the Humane Society in early February. He had been turned in as an unwanted dog. I actually had to hire a dog and tracker to find out where he was routinely traveling, and to give me advice on how to trap him. We spotted him several times on a large nearby farm, but he would run away each time we approached or called to him. Apparently that is pretty common and attributed to their survival instinct. The second photo was taken tonight about 20 minutes before he decided to go into the trap. This has literally occupied all of my time over the past two weeks, except for messaging on the forum (of course)! I've walked more in the past two weeks than I have in the past 5 years :( If any of you find yourself in a similar situation, I can pass along the steps you need to take. If any of you have had good luck with GPS or Radio Locator collars for dogs - I would love to hear your recommendations.

Hi DD - I'm sure Carrot's dog and my dog must be closely related after listening to that! I should have been shot for even considering a terrier, but the little guy has so much personality.

This is our's....Sylvester the cat (unsurprisingly). He was a rescue from the local cat's protection league. He's about 10 years old and had been living semi wild, being fed buy the ladies in the local hot tub showroom. But as you can see, he's made himself right at home

Hour on the beach chasing a ball and in the sea swimming to fetch it back. Collapsed. Absolutely worn out.

Haha! As it happens yes she is! Although spending more money on garage defence spiders would probably be frowned upon!
