Can anyone recommend a good paint sprayers for a tank job in and around the S Yorkshire area?
I've had a price estimate from Dream Machine which is OK but they seem to have had some negative reviews recently. I tried to contact Race Paint UK by phone, they don't answer and they haven't responded to an email so they're out. I don't mind travelling to a degree but I don't want to use postage or couriers for obvious reasons.

Wobbz is in Bromsgrove, not sure if that's close enough for you but he does good work. He did Mrs Visors Blade respray and some v good plastic welding on two of the panels at a good rate. Highly recommended.

Again not sure if it's close enough for you but I had a superb result from Ian Potter - www.tankcareproducts.co.uk. He is based just north of Norwich but highly recommended

Thanks for the replies/recomendations. Most of these custom sprayers seem to be very busy at the moment! I've found a couple of places much closer but they are booked up until well into the New Year with a turnaround time of 2-4 weeks. One place wanted the tank for 12 weeks which seems a long time for such a relatively simple colour scheme! I'm in no rush to get it done but want the bike off the road for as short a time as possible.
If it wasn't for the Triumph logo I'd probably have a go myself. I still have some matt khaki paint I had mixed up to spray the mudguard on the Street Scrambler which came out great so I could get some more mixed easily. I've painted car and bike bodywork before with excellent results, plus the tank will be matt finish which is a little easier to achieve than a deep gloss. We shall see.

Decided to have a go myself and sprayed it up with a couple off rattle cans this afternoon with a printed vinyl logo! Quite pleased with the result!:p:)
