Last one I did I used fine wet and dry rubbed down to alloy cleaned de greased and resprayed with clear lacquer looked like new. Admittedly was on Virago but I am going to do the same on my bonny.

Have rattle canned headlamp brackets and heel guards on my Speed Twin and have held up fine, just a little scuff on the heel plate on the brake side. Primed mine first after cleaning with acetone to get any grease off.

I got a few bits on my Street Twin powder coated last winter. The bar clamp and headlight brackets in satin black and intake covers in burgundy. Cost was £60.
