I was in Headingley for about 10yrs. Skyrack, Original Oak etc all the way down the Otley road and back
I used to live just behind the ground and would get in for free at half time. When a bit older I'd go in for a pint or three of hand-pumped Tetleys Bitter - good memories .
Essex boy me, what did you expect with a name Wayne!!! Spent my bike days on the A13 to Southend posing on the seafront, or shivering with a cup of hot chocolate in the winter, oh the good ol days not forgetting a blast through the dartford tunnel ( great crac with noisy pipes ) to brands hatch for a bit of clubmens . Watching the Novices on RDs and x 7 s skidding on the arses. Oh and the smell of castrol R. Oh The memories. Now it's Carlow in Ireland my normal spin now is the Wicklow mountains , if your ever over try the corribut gap and glandalouch. The hotel there is where bike meet.
Aye, I love taking my Bonnie up to Sally Gap now and then, and sometimes for a hot chocolate at Johnny Foxes.
