You could tell from the first pic already that he was awesome, you just had to provide the proof now didnt you?
My two retired greyhounds Mighty Atlas and Jaxie Comer both age 10. Atlas was retired early due to a shoulder injury and our sweet little Jax turned out to the track pet so she was throughly spoiled with only racing a few times around the track.
Both your greyhounds are so sweet-looking, @RebelHawk. Those big brown eyes make me melt. Thanks for sharing the photos.
This is Meka. She'll be three in a couple days. My wife named her and said Meka means "beautiful eyes" in Hawaiian. I think it means lunatic. She was a rescue. The owner of Meka's mother left the mother to die, chained in the sun with no water. The cops found Meka and her brother trying to nurse off the dead mother. She loves the pool and is fanatically dedicated to my granddaughter.
This forum definitely needs an emoji response for WOW! I’m eager to hear the story about each of your wonderful furry friends, Ken.
Well......we have three dogs (two young girls and a 16 year old boy) The old lad (Bear) was given two weeks to live three years ago so we got a puppy as a companion for his brother when he passed.....but he refused to go and is still holding on.......his brother however, died very suddenly, so another puppy came along..... We have four horses: three that ride and one that’ll pull anything you harness him to. He’s the smallest of the bunch but with the biggest attitude! They are single horse power models of course, but their acceleration is exhilarating! Their braking ability really depends on their temperament on the day (as does their steering!) and they need fuel constantly even when not being ridden - they probably cost around £100 a mile to run! We also have 18 hens and two cockerels. These are the result of half a dozen hens we rescued maybe 25 years ago from a battery farm. We don’t breed them, they do their own thing and we either get babies or we don’t. They do however produce some fabulous eggs, are very friendly and get on (if that’s how to put it) with the dogs and the horses....
went for a walk with my nob head dog this morning, he had a fixation on the deer that were around, so kept him on his lead.....anyhooo 2 years old now and hes just an amazing dog to have and own even though.... well if you know you know i suppose.
