Hi mate, my heartfelt wishes for your beautiful dog/friend is that she crosses this difficult bridge and comes back the very best of health possible. My thoughts are with you both
Hope that some of the absolutely astonishing things that vets can - and do - perform on our pets these days are used to keep your little spaniel safe and well. Good luck both!
Here’s hoping for a full recovery for her Tiglet. We lost our Springer last year and he’s still sorely missed They’re great dogs, best wishes to you both
Ken I was just going to update,,,thanks for enquiring. The old girl she’s 13 had tumours on two of her mammary glands so she had both glands completely removed. A bit like a double Mastectomy. She’s home and is doing well, got a big plaster over her tummy. She on liquid pain relief at the moment. Got to take her to the vets on Thursday morning for a post op checkup. It always amazes me how quickly animals recover from serious injuries/operations. This is Fizzy this afternoon in the garden having a snooze in the shade under a silver birch tree.
Good news bud, it’s horrible when your best pal isn’t well, because they can’t tell you what’s up seems to make it way worse. If only they could talk
Great news she’s come through the surgery. They never cease to amaze me. They appear to bounce back from scenarios such as this, without a whimper or excessive neediness. Lots of love, licks (kisses) & gentle hugs are the spoonful of medicine required. Speedy recovery Fizzy. By the way, who has the green fingers?
The garden is my domain Ken. I enjoy being outside doesn’t matter summer or winter in the garden, fishing, out working the dogs or helping a farmer/gamekeeper friend.
That Jez is a most appropriate plant for you,,,,,it’s a Money Plant (Crassula ovation Convoluta) Just be careful with it they are renowned for stealing whiskey in the middle of the night once they’ve had a diluted taste and are known to even attack people who try to stop there desire
