Thank you all again for your support and kind comments. I really appreciate it. And a big thank you for.... Its been a very long time since I was called that!
It always gives me a giggle. that everyone can have such differing opinions on politics,Brexit, bikes, partners and just about everything else. Although everyone feels the same way for their pets, even when they piss you off for eating your doorframe or roast beef ,ready to plate. We feel nothing but love for them as they do for us.

Eurrgh no, I wouldn’t let any pets eat from the plates or utensils I’m going to be using. They spend half of the day licking their ass!
This is our Ella during a recent walk at Hughenden Manor, lovely area for walking dogs. Not over popular and has lovely landscapes
Well, there was still a hole that needed filling... Meet Tia, a cocker spaniel, she's 18 months old, has a few skin issues which we are getting under control. Had a bit of a life already, a bit pillar to post. But she's a wee sweetie! Thanks to the sspca she now has her forever home. Isn't she a cutie!? As you know, we have a soft spot for spaniels
i have 2 dogs, a 10 yr old Border Collie and a 14 yr old Collie cross that was rescued from a back garden where it had been neglected for yrs to the point that she should have weighed 24KG but when we got her she was nearly33KG and could nt even walk up steps
If you look under her chin, on her chest you can see it's pink? I think she had been tied up, and her collar was too tight, it's like that all round her neck (hence the harness). It's getting better. She has bald patches on her haunches, and some nasty sores on her ears. But treatment is ongoing, she has been treated for mange just in case, and she's getting neem oil shampoo and skin treatment, and it's all starting to look so much better, as you see... Pink now, not red raw. She has a really nice nature though, and she's very gentle. Really, I don't know how anybody could treat her like that. Some saddos out there. She'll get plenty of love from now on.
It wasn't.... Mrs BS adjusted it just after the pic was taken. Tia was in the middle of a nice game of fetch, didn't really want to stop to have her 'clothing' adjusted.... Lol.
I've seen this quote and it's awesome! You can easily switch the term "wife" to "husband" though, as not all who might try this experiment are husbands.
I just found this awesome thread this morning! Thanks for starting it way back when, Red Thunder. And to everyone for keeping it going with the most amazing and beautiful photos of your furry best friends. Yes, our animal friends are the best. I always say that if people were more like dogs, the world would be a far better and simpler place. Here are a couple pics of our Annie girl. I love her even more (way more!) than my motorcycles...and that's a LOT!
P.S. I know many of you on this forum are Brits and the ear cropping deal is..a deal. Anyway, we adopted Annie when she was five years old and this is how she came to us.
