So we've moved house, and are busy refurbishing. Wee dog needs a bit more attention, and some time to get settled in her new home. So she reckons she's entitled to "laptime". And makes that very clear... Don't pay any attention to her disheveled daddy!
We have an English Springer Spaniel who is currently asleep half on my knee. I'll post up a photo of her once I can get to the device with them on. Anyhew, my reason for posting initially is to comment about dogs who have "that reputation". Obviously, as we can see, Dozer is a bit of a sweetie isn't he? Kind of dispels that reputation. Seriously, when will folk realise that ANY dog is only behaving in the way its been brought up. Dogs are like kids, bring them up right and they make great adults and are a credit to you, drag them up and don't teach them what's right and wrong, then you end up with nasty brats and evil scrotes. There's plenty folk who should never have dogs. Or kids.
Found some pics. .. This, above, is Mollie, enjoying playing in the snow. She really loves it. She's about 7 now, going on 18 months. Mad as a hatter, but full of love. This is Breagha. Her name is Gaelic for "lovely". If you look closely you can see she's chewing something.... That's a Land Rover spring shackle. I was replacing a set of leaf spring bushes, and put the shackles down. Came to pick them up and she had taken them and was cleaning the paint up for me. As you can see in the pic she was quite good at making kindling too. She destroyed my drivers seat in about five minutes flat one day... Sadly old age caught up with her last year gone, but never forgotten.
This advert came on the TV, dog went wappy !!! So we had to rewind and do it again, nearly went through the screen This was the third or fourth time, so not quite so mental, but still funny.
Just read in Money Mail VETS FOR PETS are mulling over closing some 30 of its practices as its profits are down 80%! 80%? How the hell did they manage that, close the bleedin' doors? I've used them for chipping/first innoculations but would not trust them with any thing else, seems like I might not be the only one! They did Bonnie's chip & innoc's but I used a proper vet surgery to get her spayed.
Can't post picks of bike rides, as the gritter has been way too busy round our way. So just have to take the dug for a walk. Went up to the Galloway Forest. Bloody lovely, must get the KTM mot'd and get riding in them hills. Met someone's pets ! Bit big and bloody smelly, but nice to see. Spot the dog?
