Ellie on Christmas morning, unfazed by her surroundings. As long as we don't touch her dog bed, she's happy. :joy::joy::joy: The second photo shows her with her new Christmas hedgehog which she squeaked nearly nonstop for about half an hour after opening it!

My little man is not feeling so good. He was attacked by a Dalmatian this morning who just came up to him, sniffed him once then pounced. He has two bite wounds on one of his legs and badly bruised ribs. Luckily the vet was able to see him straight away. I just hope it hasnt destroyed his confidence and friendly and outgoing nature.

He might well change in that respect - my little bulldog used to love any and all dogs, until she got ambushed and bitten by an evil black mongrel of some sort. She's now decided that on any black dog a pre-emptive strike is warranted... Any other colour is fine...

Im hopeful but i expect some sort of reaction to "spotty dogs". Having had problems with my last dog (a rescue) i got my current dog as a puppy and was determined to raise him in a way that made him sociable. I hope i succeeded in that he has always loved meeting new dogs and people. It would be soul destroying if that was ruined by people who allow their dogs (who they know to be violent towards other dogs, i can prove this) to roam, un-muzzled and off-lead in areas where hundreds of dog owners go every day.
