I have done an extensive search on here and read most of the threads on this issue ...
But ..Can somebody confirm that you CAN'T get an original Tiger 1200 workshop manual.
I have been looking for days and not getting anywhere.
If necessary, I don't mind buying from Triumph themselves ...

Is there such difference to the basic new 1200 bike compared to the 1200 Explorer version. As there is a chap selling a manual for the Explorer for £20 on eBay.

    Hi David,

Is the EBay seller based in Bath? If so, ask him if his name's Mark?

If it's the guy I think it is? His manuals are well worth £20.
Not overly long (not many pages) but the info it contained was very comprehensive.
I've never purchased one but a mate did. I had a quick flick through over a cuppa & it looked better than a Haynes. For roughly the same money.

Thanks DD. I actually just sent Mark a message on his web page asking if the Explorer 1200 and my 1200 were not so dissimilar.

Sounds like it could be the same guy?
The manual struck me as something he'd written himself. Rather than a printed off download from somewhere?

Although it was very well written & easy to follow. I couldn't help wondering if it could possibly contain mistakes? Not saying it did David. It was just a thought that crossed my mind.

Mind you, Haynes have been known to make mistakes as have Triumph with their basic owners manuals.

Hi. Try this place. I purchased a speed triple in the past and now I have a street triple manual. All seems good. Give it a try or just drop him an email and find out whether the manual is factory.

Thanks R_1000 I found the service manual on his site ... As I prefer the physical book version, I ordered one. Postage is always a killer from the states .. But hey ho that's the price you pay .... : unamused:

Whilst i am waiting for it to arrive, I also purchased the pdf version £13.48 from https://servicemanualwarehouse.com .. an absolute bargain. So when i'm away from home I have the manual on my phone.
