Batey 72 Its nice to see a plan coming together, a very brave thing to do with your bike you must be very happy with its progress a excellent skill you have there, I like it with the twin shocks.

It's just my opinion but I dont think I'd chance it with the front brake... You've very little oil in a small pice of pipe acting as a reservior, if the back brake fails you can still stop safely with the front. The other way round I think you'll struggle..

Thanks Peter, I think I'm well past the point of returning it back to standard but I'm really happy with the progress.
I like to do something a little more challenging...

Proper nice bit of kit now!! What finish process is used on the tank out of interest? Battery box is well blended in now I see. Well done, good craftsmanship.

I like everything except the seat. Don't get me wrong it a great job and I would love to own it myself. But the seat is bugging me. I would like the front to be lower than the back. A bit like the new Street a Twin perhaps. Or even a single seat following the curve of the tank down to the top of the air filters then back up.

That is very nice job Batey, now I'll tell you what I have done to my bike because of road resurfacing and loose road chippings I have removed my belly pan painted sump with Hammerite black gloss paint and treated the removed belly pan to a coat of clear stone chip and that took me all day to do that:D:D

Hi, the tank was painted by 8 ball custom they did an amazing job, they strip the paint and pollish the bare metal then just clear lacquer over, it's a really nice finish..

I'm not 100% but I think the carb model need a support bracket and EFI model doesn't..

Its difficult making choices with what will look good on your bike as it looks good without but a front one will be needed unfortunately.
