Today I had a long day. At 04:15 I started my Honda and rode 340 km to Salzburg for some business duties. The temperature at home started with 5 degrees Celsius. After 20 km it went down to 1 degree because I had to cross a valley of the pre Alps. Afterwards it rose up to 11 degrees when I arrived in the city of Salzburg.
The way home at 14:30 had some more highlights.:p
Hard rain washed me for the first 280 km over the highway. The last 70 kilometers I tried to get dry again. It was a real test of my bike gear. The last 5 years I tried uncountable amounts of waterproof gloves, but none of them lasted for more then one hour at really wet conditions. Therefore I bought a pair of oversize latex gloves last weekend and tested them today. They kept me dry during my more then 3 hours ride home. :)
At 17:30 I reached my home again. Nearly dry. Meanwhile I had a cup of tee and a glass of Single Malt to refresh.:p
My bike now looks like an offroad bike, but I will clean it tomorrow again.;)

Big ride in trying temperatures and conditions :cold_sweat:. Had tingling fingers yesterday in higher temps, and bike was splashed after 2 hours polishing, so feel for you

Clever and functional idea, @Markus! Maybe I'll throw a pair of these in my saddlebag. Even though we're heading in to the sky high temperatures of summer, t's good to be prepared for (most) every eventuality/
