Hi Guys and Gals, just to let you know that Andy and I have planned a little jaunt in southern France/northern Spain in three weeks time and wanted to post our dates & places, in case any of you are in the same 'neck of the woods' : 1st to the 4th Sept - Ax-les-Thermes, 09110. 100 kms south of Toulouse, France in the Pyrenees, 4th to the 6th Sept - Jaca, 22700 Spain, on the spanish side of the Pyrenees ; 6th to the 7th Sept - Bayonne, 64100 France. 7th to the 8th Sept - Agen, Lot et Garronne, France We're already meeting up with Smilingjack at Jaca, but if anyone else is about just message me. We could have a party !!!!
Well as it happens I’m just about to ‘skim’ the edge of Brittany tomorrow for a few days with my ‘green’ friend as we get a ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff shortly. It’s a little too far to meet you lot this time but it’s a nice thought. Eric
I get the impression Alan that we will just need food - lots of - and beer - in equal measures. WOW ! There's a plan !!! PS Can you view the conversation Andy and I have been having ?
Maccy D ? You can't be serious ? (said in John McEnroe voice). Would expect to find something much much better at a good price.
I've got a better idea. Buy some of that smoky streaky Spanish bacon, wrap it all around your exhaust pipes, run the engine until the bacon just begins to crisp and then slap it on some fresh bread. I'll bring some HP sauce.
Hi Bonnie, you done enough this year to show us all up Bonnie, have a rest now and put your feet up for a bit . PS Fun is DEFINITELY on the cards !!!
And whilst your at it, stick some bread dough in the end of you mucky pipe to rise and bake, when engine is finally choked on its bread bunged exhaust then time to stop and take bread from stinky oven, and stuff in the bacon!!
We're just outside Ainsa on 6th moving up to Villeneuve-sur-Lot for the 7th Don't know what your routes are, mine are on my route app under France September 2019
We're staying in Agen on the 7th, just about 20 miles south of you. I don't know what you mean be "my route app". Is that something to do with the forum group thingy ?
My route app is the preferred sat nav routing tool I know it's a bit of a long shot at this early stage, but do you know what sort of time you'll be in Agen? We've got some sight seeing to do so I don't think it's going to work. We're following the river Lot the next day as far as Cajac and then up to Rocamadour.
