Well that was a unbelievable shock today when I pulled one of my old big 660 single cylinder bike out of deep sleep, it just started first time once put a battery on it. It even was an undersized battery for a 125 which hasn’t even been charged!
I remember running it on premium fuel years ago and the tank was still nearly full. It smelt good when I looked in the tank first which was the first surprise as I never intended it to be stored so long but only a few weeks, then tap on and the sound of thumps filled the air!
That really shows the difference between shite supermarket fuel and premium! BF5BE46C-158E-44C2-8341-AB256A5312AA.jpeg 287D33BB-27B7-42D3-8513-5E1E798BB2A7.jpeg

I bought a Fireblade a few years ago which had been standing for five years. A fresh battery and a few prods of the starter and it fired up.
