Just been for a 140 mile ride to the Sportsbike Shop at Kirton and on the whole trip I saw one, yes just one, other bike, aside from the crashed one in the hedge with police tape round it. Its not as if it raining or any other such wintry weather so am I on my own in riding all year whenever I can?
I used to ride in snow rain -20C whatever but now ... I am old and hate the cold... Need to get my bike to Spain ....
I'll give you a call next time i'm out at stupid oclock doing a collection or delivery, perhaps you'd like to tag along
To be fair guys I have to get up at Stupid O'clock for the next 4 days! My last day off before going back to work! So I'll be working at the weekend while you can all go out riding!!
Thats OK, dont worry I'll wait till its convenient like over the Christmas or New Year holidays .............. I think 9:00am was the best one on Boxing Day
Thank God you said at work and not some off us have to work for a living because it would of turned into six pages of piss taking Tucker
It’s in the mid 40s here in the PNW in the US. Squeezing every ride I can before the horrible drizzling rain blankets the region for the next couple of months.
Don’t know where Kirton is, but yesterday I was one of well over 500 bikes taking part in the Remembrance Ride from Squires in Yorkshire. Fantastic event, showing we don’t forget and raising funds in the process for a worthwhile cause.

Obviously THAT’s where all the motorbikes were then! I’m up in the Seattle area in the US with Par Archer. It’s about 4C outside but clear so I’m riding every chance I get before the three months of rain sets in.
That’s a great clip! Sorta mesmerizing watching all those bikes. And moving to see all those people out for Armistice Day.
I am retired, but work part time, If that makes sense. That is when I work on the weekends as well! Remember to always ride safe!
My insurance, road tax and MOT is due for renewal this December. I am thinking of packing the bike away for the winter. Trouble with that is when you get the urge to go for a ride....you are buggered
I wasn't out today on mine but normally I ride year round here in NE Texas. Temps today were about 40ish and clear. Not actually bad weather but I just didn't have anywhere to go today and on a day away from work it was nice to stay at home for a change.
