Hi there folks, I’m Kev and a Triumph virgin so be gentle! Been riding sports and muscle bikes for many a year and now at the age of 53 I have come to the conclusion that I want to get out on the open road a lot more now the kids are all grown up and not just be the dry weather biker I have become. I road bikes for 20 years before I took a four wheeled tin test so all weathers was the norm( I was a lot younger then). So I have my sights set on a Tiger 1200 because I love a beast and they look cool IMO, hopefully a 2015 for around the 8 grand mark if poss? Currently I have a ZRX1200R lime green with full akrapovic which I fecking love and not looking forward to letting go, but need funds for the Tiger. This forum seems really cool and already learning loads, always loved Triumphs and not sure why I have never owned one, just always been into the big Z’s and GPZ’s I guess So thanks in advance for letting join the gang Regards Kev
Cordyk Welcome to the Family. Well you are on track now. And you can't go wrong with the big tiger. That engine has a growl to it and you know its working. You will have to send a picture when you get the beast. Ride Safe Joe.
Hi Kev and welcome to the forum, I test rode the 1200 Tiger when my Street was being serviced last spring, can't remember exact model but it had all the bells and whistles, quick shift up and down, active suspension etc, was really impressed with how you could hustle it along for such a big bike. Hope you source yourself a good one, and don't forget to post pictures when you get it.
Good morning and welcome in. I'm sure you will enjoy your new ride and don't forget to always ride safe!
Cheers guys! Thanks for the warm welcome although I know I will be a fully fledged member when I’ve popped my cherry with a Tigress....grrrrrr
