Just buttoning up the bike now. Plastics are back on. Put on a new leather seat cover. Just waiting on the replacement tank decals and then shes done. I update my original post to reflect parts and cost. All in all, I am into the bike for about $1,000 including what I paid for the bike originally at auction. I will post pics once she's completely done. Not that I am going to sell her, but wondering how much this model is worth out there.
Hi mate, great bikes, got a 95 sprint myself and love her. Going back to post 23, the middle carb has a different size main jet as standard to keep the cylinder cooler I believe.

Rode the bike last weekend. Surprisingly I felt comfortable on it. Did about 20 miles, baby steps before I hit the freeways. Going for another ride this Saturday with my Bro in Law.
Ughhhh guys. Went to start it up in the garage and I can see it leaking in the same area again. Right over the starter. middle carb float needle, all 3 bowl gaskets replaced. Overflow tubes are going to the rear of the air filter so it's not overflowing there. Any advice from the experts?
Is your fuel tap (petcock) in the horizontal position? If so then it is most likely not shutting off properly (vacuum tap) when the engine is off. Have a look at www.squaredeals-ltd.co.uk or www.triumphparts.gbr.cc for rebuild kits. You may have a a supplier over there that can help you more easily than one in the UK. Or not! Fuel should not be getting through to the carbs when the engine is off. You may also have a carb problem anyway but a good fuel system cleaner added to the petrol may well clear any dirt out of the system over a period of time. I believe 'Sea Foam' is one such cleaner available in the States (if I have remembered the name correctly!). Tapping the carb body with the blunt end of a screwdriver may help to re-seat a sticking float/needle. Are all the seals/gaskets on the carbs all ok? Is the fuel feed pipe in good condition and sealing properly? Total ball ache when you think you've sorted the problem only for it to rear its ugly head again!
Yes, it's leaking only when running, so petcock is doing it's job ok. I just ordered the fuel rail connectors kit that has the o-ring as well. I am doing both fuel and vent. What I do remember is when I shifted fuel rail position is when this probably started. Torn o-ring? Hopefully this resolves it. I just want to ride, lol.
Replaced all 4 Fuel T's connecting the carbs and no more leak. Also, found out my bike is a 49 state and not California, hence why I originally got the wrong parts for my carb. Going for a ride this weekend, should be a beautiful one as it's mid 70's all weekend.
