Came on here for some research and have some real world weights on Triumphs I bought recently. Will be 70 in January and have ridden for 55 years. Wrenched at local shops 1971 to 1979. Had my own shop from 1980 to 1993. 1995 - Real Estate. Have a collection of bikes from real old to real new. 1st e-mails I got from this site were from some gal , supposedly 25 , that wanted to send nekkid pics ( spam ) I'll pass on that, though. One of the bikes, this year. ( Got a few more, since )
C. Dolan Welcome to the family. Yes we all got the thing advertising her body. From the time I joined it is the first old tart on here wanting to pedal her wares. Do like everyone else don't respond. Littleade showed me how to stop it contacting you again but for the life of me i can't remember the steps other than you report the message and then click the box you don't want to respond or receive further mail from it. Perhaps then someone will put it back in its cage. It is a lovely steed and the same as I was contemplating my self but decided on a classic instead. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner if you have any other interesting steed you would like to tease the inmates with they love picture in the asylum and nursey gets a quite round doing the meds. Joe ( fully Clothed. )
I'll put up a topic titled: From The Skunk Werkz to comment on mods , real world weights, riding feedback, and some You Tube videos.
Welcome to the forum pay no attention to the horny ladys... its a Triumph thing, they can't resist us
Greetings and welcome to the forum, @C. Dolan! I'm looking forward to checking out your Skunk Works thread and am hoping to see photos of your others bike in addition to this good looking Trident. Whereabouts are you in San Diego? I lived in San Diego County for about 10 years before moving to Tucson--Leucadia, Golden Hill, Encinitas. My husband and I get over there occasionally.
C Dolan Sorry forgot to say welcome to the family earlier. Nice bike and great photography. You seem a handy person. Joe.
Welcome Dolan: I am up in San Bernardino County. Been playing with Triumphs about 20 years. I have wrenched on about anything with wheels and did 30 years in building maintenance. I used to get down to "Sandy Eggo" every year or two. But since the virus thing I am staying pretty close to home. Show us some bikes ! ...J.D.
Check out my You Tube Channel : Rude Dog A warm up video in the upper garage. More videos of the lower. On rainy days, I do a mass start and warmup.
Holy cow! And this video is only of the "upper garage"? I'll have to check your YouTube videos to see just how many bikes you have altogether. That is quite the collection. I sort of collect motorcycle jackets--but you collect the actual motorcycles. You could start your own dealership, @C. Dolan. Is there a story behind all these bikes?? Thanks for sharing the video.
